Our mission at the kidney foundation is to make essential kidney care accessible, affordable, and ethical for economically disadvantaged patients through compassionate support, clinical excellence, and transparent healthcare initiatives. We envision a future where every individual requiring a kidney transplant or renal care can receive timely treatment without financial distress standing in the way of survival. Through clinician-led decision-making, accountable CSR partnerships, and compassionate long-term support, we strive to restore not only kidney health but also dignity, hope, and a second chance at life for vulnerable patients and their families.

Our mission is to ensure that no patient is denied life-saving kidney health care due to financial barriers. Collaborating with NABH-accredited hospital partners across Karnataka, our kidney foundation offers affordable kidney transplantation, dialysis support, donor evaluation, counseling, and structured long-term post-transplant care. Led by specialists with American and European Board Specialty Training and extensive experience in Indian healthcare systems in the fields of nephrology, urology, and transplant surgery, Beanstalk combines international clinical expertise with patient-centered care and strong ethical governance. All patient selection, donor evaluation, and kidney transplant pathways are directly supervised by experienced transplant clinicians, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards under the Transplantation of Human Organs Act (THOA). Through our CSR initiatives, we are dedicated to enhancing kidney health for all.

Dr. Pallavi Patri, Managing Trustee and Lead Consultant in Nephrology & Transplant at the kidney foundation, holds an MBBS and MD along with ABIM certification in Internal Medicine & Nephrology from Cornell University, USA. With over 20 years of experience in kidney disease management, dialysis care, and transplantation medicine, Dr. Patri emphasizes ethical patient care and long-term kidney health. As the leader of the Beanstalk Kidney Foundation, she is committed to providing accessible transplantation services for vulnerable patients. 

Dr. Girish Nelivigi serves as Trustee and Senior Consultant Urologist & Transplant Surgeon at the health foundation. With an MBBS, MS, and MCh in Urology, he has over 25 years of clinical and surgical experience. As the Managing Director of Nelivigi Multispeciality Hospital in Bengaluru, Dr. Nelivigi brings extensive expertise in general urology and renal transplantation, playing a key role in enhancing accessible urological and transplant care in Karnataka, thereby contributing to the CSR initiatives of the foundation.

Dr. Rajkiran K. Deshpande, Trustee and Group Consultant in Transplant & Multiorgan Retrieval Surgery, holds an MBBS, DNB, and MRCS (Glasg) along with FRSPH-Public Health (UK) and FEBS (European Board) in Transplant Surgery. With over 10 years of experience in both India and the United Kingdom, including advanced fellowship training at the University of Manchester and Birmingham transplant centres, Dr. Deshpande specializes in kidney transplantation, dialysis access surgery, multiorgan retrieval, and transplant governance. His leadership as a lead retrieval surgeon in the North-West UK transplant network focuses on ethical transplantation practices, surgical excellence, and expanding access to affordable kidney care.
